The ceremony will be held indoors with an outdoor cocktail hour to follow. Please dress accordingly. Guests are encouraged to wear formal attire. Please arrive at least twenty minutes prior to the ceremony time.

The Maid of Honor

Fiona Kalensky

Fiona is Mikhaela’s best friend—but she’s also so much more. She’s a sister, a confidante, and a constant source of strength and support. Their friendship began in 2010 during their freshman year at Whitney Young, in Mr. Locke’s literature class, and has since blossomed into a lifelong bond. What started as a shared love for books and music quickly grew into a rich creative sisterhood. The two spent years jamming with their band in the orchestra room, writing songs in the food court in the Macy's pedway downtown, and learning new instruments from Fiona’s dad’s collection and Mr. Lanzino’s band class. Whether they were scrapbooking, cooking, or collaborating on art projects, they’ve always inspired each other’s creativity. Through every high and low, Fiona has been by Mikhaela’s side—offering encouragement, heartfelt advice, and comfort (often with the perfect quote from a philosopher or author). She celebrates Mikhaela’s joys as her own and offers unwavering support when it matters most. Having Fiona as her Maid of Honor is a true privilege. Mikhaela couldn’t imagine navigating this journey without her right-hand woman. Their friendship is one of life’s greatest gifts, and Mikhaela is endlessly grateful to have Fiona beside her as she begins this next chapter.

The Best Man

Matthew Moore

Matt is Dan’s younger brother. The two share a close and enduring bond that has only grown stronger over the years. Matt has always had Dan's back—whether with support, a good laugh, or simply being there when it counts. Their relationship is a perfect example of brotherhood—Matt isn’t just a sibling to Dan, he’s also one of Dan’s closest friends and go-to people. Since Mikhaela and Dan started dating, Matt has been incredibly welcoming, making Mikhaela feel right at home with the family. From the start, he’s been genuine, kind, and always ready to offer support when needed. She’s grateful for how easily he’s included her in everything, and as she becomes a part of the family, she’s excited to have Matt as a brother. It means so much to the couple to have Matt be part of this special day, and they are honored to have him stand by Dan’s side as they begin their journey as husband and wife.

Queenie Navarro

Queenie is Mikhaela’s cousin, but their bond has always been more than just family. Over the years, their relationship has blossomed into a deep friendship Mikhaela treasures. Through shared memories, life’s challenges, and countless milestones, Queenie has been a constant source of support—always there with a listening ear, words of encouragement, or a well-timed laugh. They’ve spent hours talking about life, relationships, and everything in between, helping each other navigate both the highs and lows. No matter the circumstance, Mikhaela has always known she can rely on Queenie. Whether offering guidance, comfort, or simply being present, Queenie’s kindness, intuition, and genuine heart have made her an unwavering pillar of strength. Mikhaela is incredibly proud of the woman Queenie has become and even prouder to have her by her side as she and Dan exchange their vows. Abigail Moore

Abby is Dan’s youngest sister. From the moment Mikhaela met Abby, it was clear that she would not only be a wonderful sister-in-law but also a friend Mikhaela would cherish. Since then, Mikhaela has come to admire Abby’s kindness, sense of humor, and genuine heart. One of the qualities Mikhaela admires most about Abby is her authenticity. She is unapologetically real—what you see is what you get. Whether they’re discussing something serious or laughing over something silly, Abby’s openness and vulnerability make her someone Mikhaela can trust, rely on, and turn to in any situation. Mikhaela is grateful to have Abby by her side, not just as a bridesmaid, but as a friend and future sister. Mishelle Padilla

Mishelle is Mikhaela’s older sister. Their relationship has evolved over the years, with the bond of family remaining a steady and enduring presence. Throughout their lives, they have shared many moments—family milestones, celebrations, and personal growth—that have helped foster a strong foundation for their relationship. Mikhaela is thankful to have Mishelle by her side as a bridesmaid as she embarks on this new chapter of her life. The Groomsmen

Jonathan Arias

Jon has been Mikhaela’s best friend since their junior year of high school—though it feels like they’ve known each other forever. Their friendship began in Mr. Peek's guitar class and has only grown stronger over the years. From late-night talks about everything and nothing, to spontaneous adventures and music sessions, Jon has always been the kind of friend who shows up—no questions asked. Through life’s highs and lows, Jon has remained a constant, unwavering presence. To Mikhaela, he’s more than a friend—he’s family. In recent years, Jon has also become a close friend to Dan. Whether it’s sharing a laugh over a beer or simply hanging out, he’s become a natural part of Dan’s life too. Both Mikhaela and Dan are incredibly grateful for Jon. As they begin this next chapter together, they’re thrilled to have him standing by their side—not just as a friend, but as chosen family. His friendship means the world to them, and they can’t wait for the many more memories and adventures to come.

Michael Jarvis

Michael, or "Jarvis," as his friends call him, is one of Dan’s closest friends from high school ("Go Eagles," as Dan would say). Dan and Jarvis have known each other since their freshman year, when they met in second-period band. Jarvis is the kind of friend who shows up when it matters most—offering unwavering support, a listening ear, and always ready to lend a hand. His loyalty to Dan is unparalleled, and it’s clear to anyone who knows him that he consistently puts his friends first. Mikhaela has also come to admire Jarvis for the kind, caring, and honorable person he is. His thoughtfulness and authenticity have made him not only an incredible friend to Dan, but someone Mikhaela knows she can always rely on as well. Having Jarvis as a groomsman is an absolute privilege for both Dan and Mikhaela. They feel incredibly lucky to call him one of their friends. His friendship is something they both treasure deeply, and they are truly thankful to have him by their side as they step into this next chapter of their lives.

Orlando Prieto

Orlando is also one of Dan’s closest friends from high school (Go Eagles!). They met in second-period band during their freshman year, alongside Jarvis. While Orlando may not always be the one tasked to manage the details, there’s one thing you can always count on: he will show up. When it truly matters, Orlando is the friend who’s there without hesitation, ready to offer his support in whatever way he can. What sets Orlando apart is his heart of gold, unwavering loyalty, and deep care for those he calls friends. His genuine warmth, sense of humor, and dependability in tough moments make him irreplaceable in Dan’s life. When it comes to showing up for the people he cares about, Orlando is always all in. Both Dan and Mikhaela are incredibly grateful for Orlando’s friendship and feel honored to have him standing by their side as a groomsman. Fiona is one of the kindest, most loyal people Mikhaela knows. She’s the type of person who shows up when it matters, no questions asked. Whether to be a shoulder to cry on, someone to laugh with until their stomachs hurt, or just a partner-in-crime for whatever wild idea they come up with, Fiona has always been there.

Over the years, Fiona has been Mikhaela's rock, confidante, and, without a doubt, soul sister.

As Maid of Honor, Fiona represents everything Mikhaela loves about friendship—unwavering support, endless love, and a deep understanding that only comes with years of shared experiences. 

Mikhaela feels incredibly lucky to have Fiona by her side as she embark on this next chapter of her life. Her friendship is a gift Mikhaela cherishes every single day and she cannot  imagine this journey without Fiona.
