Over the years, Dan and I have unexpectedly become part-time kitten rescuers. Nearly every summer since we got engaged, we've found young cats and kittens abandoned outside— often in urgent need of food, shelter, and medical care. We do our best to keep them safe— making sure they’re fed, protected from harm, and connected with shelters or foster families so they can get the care they need. This summer alone, we’re caring for what we believe are three separate litters (definitely at least two!), making sure they’re spayed/neutered, receive medical attention, and, hopefully find loving homes.
