FAQ

Are kids allowed?

While we love your little ones, this invitation is extended to adults only. Due to venue restrictions, we kindly ask that no children be in attendance. We encourage guests to make arrangements in advance and see this as an opportunity to relax, celebrate, and enjoy a night off—without little eyes and ears around.

Can I bring a date/plus one?

We’re so excited to celebrate with you! Due to venue limitations, we’re only able to accommodate the guests listed on the invitation. We kindly ask that you RSVP only for those invited. Thank you so much for understanding! Formal invitations will be sent in 2025.

Is there a dress code?

Please join us in your formal attire. We suggest that men wear a suit or barong, and women wear an evening gown, midi/knee-length cocktail dress, or a nice pantsuit.

Will the wedding be indoors?

The ceremony and reception will both take place indoors in the Wisteria Room. Cocktail hour is planned for the rooftop, so please dress accordingly. Elevators are available for easy access to all spaces. Please note that this plan is weather-dependent. In case of rain, cocktail hour will be moved indoors to the Tiffany Room.

Is there valet parking?

Valet parking will not be available. However, guests may park in The GEM Museum Suites lot located directly across the street from the venue. Limited street parking is also available. To make parking easier, we recommend using SpotHero to reserve a spot in advance.

Is the venue handicap accessible?

Yes! The venue is fully handicap accessible. There is elevator access to all levels of the museum, an access ramp located at the rear entrance, and accessible restrooms available on both the 3rd floor and lower level.

Do you have a wedding hashtag?

Yes! Please use the hashtag #ForeverMoore when posting on social media so that we may share the smiles and laughter.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Absolutely! We’d love for you to share your photos and memories — just be sure to tag them with our hashtag #ForeverMoore so we can see and relive all the joyful moments with you. During the ceremony, we’ll have a designated time for guests to snap photos. After that, we kindly ask that phones be silenced or turned off so our photographer can capture the moment uninterrupted, and everyone can stay present with us. If you're exploring the museum exhibits, feel free to take cell phone photos — just remember to turn off the flash, as requested by the Halim Time & Glass Museum.

Will there be a time gap/cocktail hour between your wedding ceremony and reception?

Yes — there will be a 1.5-hour cocktail hour following the ceremony. A detailed timeline will be shared the week of the wedding. During this time, guests are invited to enjoy hors d'oeuvres and drinks on the rooftop (weather permitting) or explore the museum exhibits at their leisure. Please note that drinks are not allowed inside the exhibit areas. Museum staff will be available to offer assistance or directions as needed.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

We’ll truly miss you! If you’re unable to attend, please RSVP “no” as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly. For those who can't join us in person, we’ll be livestreaming our ceremony at 3:00 PM CST on October 25, 2025. Livestream details and the link will be available on our website the day of the wedding.

Will food and drinks be served at the reception?

We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a sit-down dinner with a choice of entree. The bar will be available during cocktail hour, closed during dinner (wine service will be available during dinner), and will re-open after dinner is served.

Will there be any gluten free/special diet options?

We’re happy to accommodate most dietary restrictions! Please let us know about any special dietary needs when you RSVP. At this time, the only diet we are unable to accommodate is the Jain diet. To ensure we can plan accordingly, please send any dietary information or questions to andforevermoore@gmail.com by August 30, 2025.

Are we able to check out the museum?

Absolutely! Guests have museum access after the ceremony (during cocktail hour) and after dinner has been served. Please note that drinks are strictly prohibited inside the exhibits. Museum staff will be present for any assistance or direction. The rooftop will also re-open after dinner.

Will transportation be provided?

Transportation will be up to the individual guests.

Do you have a registry?

Your presence at our wedding is truly the greatest gift! If you wish to honor us with a gift, we kindly welcome contributions toward our future home or honeymoon — places where we’ll create some of our most cherished memories. We’ll also have a card box available at the reception for your convenience. We can’t wait to celebrate with you this October and for all the days to come!
